Back to 'B' Road

the quaint corridors
are abound, with
fleeting reminiscences
veiled within
a myriad carefree ways.

echoes of your laughter
still linger, on
the stony silence
stashed within
a many splendid days.

turn around I
long too, be
there with thou
lost in flail
a queer pretty face.

of tales once rendered
on breezy winter afternoons
are all that we had,
terse a few
were winding.

now the memories are quaint too
much is lost in
the world gone by,
not to be found.
As I trudge
my feet knowingly
back to ‘B’ road.
